“The male suspect purchased two cans of an unspecified beverage,” police said. “The suspect put the cans into a small bag before demanding cash from the cashier. When the cashier did not comply, the suspect attempted to pull out a large knife. The suspect then walked toward the door and, prior to leaving, took a case of chocolate bars before running outside.”

Police described the man as being white with a clean-shaven face and dirt-covered hands. The dirt went up past his wrists, the cashier noted to police. At the time, he was wearing a heavy, dark-blue jacket with a black hoodie pulled up over a baseball cap. The baseball cap had a red beak with a white “C” stitched inside a black circle.

Police also said the suspect briefly left the store, then returned wearing gloves. The right glove was beige with a dark palm, while the left was beige, red and white.

Anyone who knows the identity of this suspect, is asked to contact Det. Jamie Graham at 613-549-4660, ext. 6311, or via email at jgraham@kingstonpolice.ca.
